Si vis pacem para bellum

In 49 BC, after conquering Gaul, Caesar makes his way back at the head of 11 legions . By crossing the Rubicon he triggers a civil war that would last for several years and will bring war across the entire Mediterranean. Though his army was small, nobody could stop him.
The senate fled Rome to the East. Their last hope was general Pompeius, the only man who could match Caesar’s achievements on the battlefield. You take the role of either one of Caesar’s or Pompey’s Generals and prepare your legions for the iconic battles of Dyrrhachium and Pharsalus.  It will be a bloody fight—Roman against Roman.
